Watch the Boot Up Orientation video if you haven’t already. This is to understand how Boot Up works.
We will place you into your teams come late Monday evening. We’ll be sure to get a Zoom link sent out to each of you before the first meeting!
Until then, please begin reviewing Meeting 1 material until we assign you to your Slack team! You can also find all meeting materials in the CONTENT section above.
A few reminders about how this process works:
Your team will meet twice a week to discuss readings other materials found in the CONTENT section, above. Each meeting will cover one module, as per the calendar in the Boot Up Syllabus.
Only you and your teammates will be in the Zoom meeting room to follow the meeting agenda and discuss the resources. Feel free to volunteer or choose a moderator for each meeting, if you’d like more structure. Some teams rotate the responsibility, while other teams have the same moderator for the entire 6 weeks. The choice is up to you and your team to decide!
The content in each module will likely be way more than you’ll be able to complete before each discussion meeting, so we’ll do our best to highlight which materials to focus on if you have limited time (i.e. the “High Flyer” resource section).
After your first meeting, you can also assign readings to various team members so you can all cover more ground. Divide and conquer!
