What is AirMiners Boot Up?
Boot Up is a collaboration between AirMiners and Climate Change Academy that seeks to educate any person interested in carbon removal strategies via collaborative community discussions.
AirMiners:
AirMiners is the place for entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, and designers working to extract carbon from the air. It exists to support the global carbon negative community with networking, education, inspiration and access to funding.
Our goals are to share recent developments, foster productive networking, provide media exposure, and take the opportunity presented by COVID-19 to bring a tangible, actionable climate narrative forward.
Partners and Sponsors:
AirMiners Boot Up is created in partnership with Climate Change Academy, a developer of learning content for carbon removal, Work on Climate, an action-oriented Slack community for people serious about climate work, and Anthropocene Institute, an organization seeking to accelerate the technological and community innovations necessary to address the needs of our planet.
Everyone is Welcome - Inclusivity is Key!
The goals of Boot Up can only be accomplished in a setting of mutual respect. All are welcomed and encouraged to actively participate in meetings, regardless of gender, race, nationality, native language, sexual orientation, gender identity, political ideology and personal academic history. Curiosity is celebrated and learning is meant to be fun!
We all need all innovators to succeed. As more policymakers and business leaders take interest, there is an opportunity for the community to come together.
